What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy that helps individuals learn new skills and improve behaviors that support their everyday life. It is especially effective for children with autism. ABA focuses on teaching positive behaviors, like communication, social skills, and independence, while reducing behaviors that may interfere with learning or safety.
ABA is evidence-based, meaning it has been thoroughly researched and proven to work through years of real-life studies. This ensures that the strategies used in ABA are reliable, effective, and backed by science.
